August 7, 2006 The Question: “What would you like to do, when you ‘grow up’?” The Answer: “Be a cowboy.” The Answer: “Besides be the U.S. Secretary of Education, I want to be wherever God would use me in whatever ministry He would have me work in!” The Answer: “I want to travel the world in style, when I get rich and famous!” The Answer: “The carnal side of me says that I’d like to be a billionaire who never has to work. But the realistic side says that I’d like to be a pastor’s wife and/or a teacher. I would also love to open up my own Christian Recording label to revitalize the music industry.” The Answer: “First, I want to be a wife. Then I want to be barefoot and pregnant for a while. Ultimately my goal is to be a stay-at-home mom. I think it would be incredible to be able to raise my children myself (rather than have strangers at a day care raise them for me).” The Answer: “I’m 28 years old, but I haven’t passed the thought of ‘I want to be a teacher, and a nurse, and an accountant and...’ But for now, my ‘grown up’ job is at a credit union. I don’t think I’ll ever become a ‘grown up.’” The Answer: “A fashion designer. I doubt it will ever happen.” The Answer: “Figure out why there are only 300 licensed UPCI ministers under the age of 30? Of course, we know our young people need to get a good education to take of themselves and their families. There is no need to support them in Bible school. I have one last question—when these educated Pentecostals grow up, will they support the UPCI ministries financially, or will we still be begging for funds?” The Answer: “Be the editor of 90&9. Undoubtedly the best job in Pentecost, and I hear the pay is awesome.” The Answer: “When I grow up, I would like to walk on streets of gold, live forever and never grow old, never pay taxes, never a need to buy food, clothes, insurance, car payment, fight traffic, pick up the kids. Ahhh, it sounds heavenly!” The Answer: “Well, being umm . . . 30something I still have plans/goals on going to college. I married at 18, and now my two boys are teenagers and a few more years they will be graduating and Lord willing, I will be able to set out on a new journey for myself and my husband.” The Answer: “My only wish is that there will always be a fresh incoming supply of little rugrats in the house so I’ll be able to watch animated movies and Disney stuff without appearing weird.” The Answer: “Be a mommy.” The Answer: “Kayaking tour guide!” The Answer: “Travel across America with my family in an RV ministering to hurting souls!” The Answer: “The same thing we do every night!
