August 21, 2006 The Question: “What
impossible thing has God done for you lately?” The Answer: “With
God, all things are possible: job opportunities, advancement, on the job and
also in the ministry, and favor with God and with mankind.” The Answer: “Well,
so much has happened lately that I find it hard to choose. So I narrowed it down
to this one. I had been praying for my son to get off marijuana and for my son
to get a better job, and of course to be saved first and foremost. Well, he is
getting a better job and they do drug testing, so he said he had to quit. He
allows my granddaughter to go to church with us every Sunday, and the evening
services, too. He also is now not opposed to coming as well. The Answer: “Let's
see, where do I start? Prayed for someone to get off drugs—done! Prayed for
someone to get a better job—done! Prayed for someone to change churches and go
to the local UPC—done! Prayed for someone’s husband to attend church—done!
Prayed for someone’s marriage to get better and stronger—done! Prayed for
transportation for someone (car)—done! Probably I should stop now to give
someone else a chance!” The Answer: “Given
me favor with my superiors at work on a corporate level. I'm 24 years old
without a college degree, only 15 months experience with the company. I feel
like Joseph! Hopefully I'll fulfill whatever it is He wants me to do!” The Answer: “Healed
a horse with a fractured leg and laminitis!” The Answer: “May
not seem impossible to some, but it was a big deal to me—I just learned that
the new deadline for filing your income taxes with an extension is October 15.
God is good!” The Answer: “Not
just paid for my school, but provided extra!” The Answer: “Gave
me the strength to keep trying to be the wife my husband needs me to be.” The Answer: “Allowed
us to pay off $900 of debt this month! God is awesome!” The Answer: “He
gave me a huge revelation of who I am in Him, and how He is always there even
when I can't feel Him! The Answer: “Made
a way for me graduate high school when it looked like I wouldn't be able to.” The Answer: “Saved
me.” The Answer: “He
made a way when there was no way. I was driving in the pouring rain and could
hardly see past the hood of the car. There was an entrance ramp on my right, and
a car came speeding down it nearly ramming my car. There was nowhere for my car
to go. I just remember praying His name, and the car on my left moved over, and
the car coming down the ramp swerved right.” The Answer: “Brought
the most amazing man in the world into my life completely unexpectedly!” The Answer: “He
