Youth Congress 2007 Preview: Norman Paslay II

Norm Paslay II will be speaking to the young adults at North American Youth Congress. He is the Senior Pastor, Bible Quiz Coach, and father of the brides at The Calvary Church, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He answered our questions on July 13, 2007.

90&9: What’s the first NAYC you attended and what do you remember?
NP: My first NAYC was 1979, Memphis, TN. It was very impacting to see nearly 5K young people in the arena.
90&9: What’s your favorite NAYC memory?
NP: My favorite memory is of the one in 1987 that we hosted in here in the Nati. It had an awesome affect on the city and elevated the Youth Division; it was the first real packed-out venue and was a personal landmark event in my youth work.
90&9: What do you see as the biggest challenge for Apostolic youth today?
NP: Developing a mindset of giving back to the church and the work of the Lord is the biggest challenge. There must be the expectation that we do something for the Lord and the church, not just expecting to receive.
