Question: What is the least talented music
instrument heard in church today?
Answer: “The tambourine. People think
it’s worship, but too many of them are off beat, making noise only to be
seen.” Answer: “It depends on who is playing it. They
can all be wonderful, but any can be horrible. My choice is drums. Some
people that think they are sooooooooo good are only loud and stupid on
the drums.” Answer: “Hard to choose: all those untalented
keyboards, banging bongos. Oh, to hear a little melody again.” Answer: “Tambourine.” Answer: “The triangle.” Answer: “Accordion.” Answer: “There isn’t a least... what kind of
question is that? God doesn’t call the able, He calls the available!” Answer: “I didn’t know that musical instruments
actually had talent. This site is increasingly irrelevant as evidenced
by the questions.” (Note from

“worship killer.” Answer: “Ummm... Musical instruments do not
have the ability to be talented or not. Only the “musicians” who
attempt to play them. Right?” Answer: “What kind of a question is that?” Answer: “Drums.” Answer: “Drums! I can’t stand
the tribal chants most drummers use. It’s distracting from the rest of
the worship.” Answer: “This question is poorly worded. If
you mean, what musical instrument is currently being played most often
by untalented people, then here is my answer: as a musician, I am aware
that playing any instrument well, including voice, takes talent.
Some people are still developing. I have not witnessed an overabundance
of ‘underdevelopment’ in any specific instrument.” Answer: The Tambourine…’nuff said.” Answer: “The kazoo.” Answer: “Assuming that you’re not personifying
the instrument itself, which it appears from your question, I’d say
vocals. So few are called—so many think they are called.” Answer: “The drums.” © 2008,
