Letters
February 25, 2008 If anyone needs ice, we certainly have plenty on the
ground here in Missouri. Trying to be playful I bent down to scoop up a pile of
what I thought looked exactly like snow and came up with a handful of ice. I
thought, “I’m not throwing that at anyone, I could hurt them—that is if I
actually hit my target!” The funny thing about our weather this year is, on
Monday it might be in the high 50s. It’s been a bizarre, cold winter and I love
it—but, I must finally admit, that I am looking forward to those little green
buds bursting out of our trees. Spring always boosts me up, as do your letters,
so keep them coming! Thanks for the article and letter submissions (though we’d
always love to get another one from you), but please remember to keep your
letters in the 350 word range or just turn a passionate letter into an article!
It works that way as well. Re: “Living
the Seven Steps to Sanity” This is just what I needed to read, exactly when I needed to
read it. God is so amazing . . . He uses whatsoever He will to speak to us.
Thank you. Chantell Smith, Alabama Re: “Pentecostal
Bloopers” I love the two Pentecostal blooper articles and would love to
see more of those! It’s nice to be able to actually relate to some funny things
that happen and compare them to things that happen in my church. Besides, I’m
sure our church could add to those! We once had our assistant pastor say “some
of you may think it’s okay to have just one beer a day, and that’s fine”....he
never did say that it was not okay. He just moved on. This was over two years
ago and he still hears it about that one! I would love to see more! Thank
you! I think this website is great! I just found it today and want
to give you a web-five for a great job! God Bless You All! Name Withheld by Request, Illinois © 2008, ninetyandnine.com --------- |
