Well it seems that my intro a few weeks ago regarding traffic cameras is now getting some heat. I have specifically watched as poles are beginning to perch on top of most lights and soon after they receive cameras waiting for impatient and/or careless drivers. This particular case in Fenton, MO should prove interesting to the future of the device. I will keep you posted.

On another note, one reader below mentions how much one of your (our readers) articles has totally changed their life and walk with God—that could be you blessing someone who needs encouraging. So, if God has given you a story, testimony, or thought, please send it our way! You might never know until you get to heaven what lives you’ve touched.

Technical Note: We’re getting some back-end technical improvements done and there are some glitches at the moment. Please give tech support time to make the fixes, as it’s should be much improved (on the back-end) once it’s fixed.

Good afternoon,

After reading your life story, it made my heart go out to you knowing your parents gave you lots of things to help you go right. I feel they could have do more by having their own private Christian schools and helping you get more out of the services by teaching you German.

According to your family picture I feel you are not following the teaching in I Corinthians 11, feeding on the world’s music and preachers that are not sound in non-resistance, wearing of gold, etc., and are not doing what it takes as Christians to reproduce in your children a separation from the world to keep what it takes to reproduce generations to follow Christ.

If you would see your children get as much more liberal as you did from your parents, would you be happy and could they follow the Bible the way that Christ taught us to be in being separate from the world?

Thoughts to ponder …

Re: "The Spiritual Spade

I received this article from Brother Friend during his weekly email a few weeks ago. It really touched my heart. I have not been attending church since October, there are a myriad of reasons but it comes down to church hurts, lies, and me trying to figure out what I really believe.

Since then I have been living off of ninetyandnine.com, and Brother Friend’s weekly message. Lately I have been reading everything like I’m “supposed to,” but fairly cavalierly; I haven’t let it touch my heart like it should. I read this article and it just pierced me. It led me to pray, pray like I haven’t in a very long time. I prayed until I had the joy again. I prayed until I realized that because I was hardening my heart, not only was I not able to receive from the Lord (as the first man received his seeds), but also that I wasn’t able to hear the Lord in a time to give either (as the second man did). If I couldn’t receive, and I couldn’t give, how could I call myself one of His?

Oh praise God, this article showed me that we always need to be ready to God’s work, and to do that we have to break up the hardened top layer so that the seeds He plants can take root.
